  • If you're looking for 'Better Homes & Gardens' yards you will hate it here. This is a blue-collar neighborhood where most people allow nature a lead in their yard. With the dry climate and the clay soil most yards look very bland, even semi-unkempt. Our own yard is gravel landscaping and rather bland.

  • Most neighborhood homes were built in the 1950's and 1960's. They're mostly well maintained but often showing the wear of our searing sun. Our own condos are plain block-construction buildings that are well kept and nicely painted, but very plain style.
